What a treat Annunciation is to the tastebuds!!! I visited Annunciation for my anniversary with my husband and we were very delighted. I've been wanting to check them out for awhile and this was the perfect opportunity. Really easy to book a reservation on OpenTable.com.
The staff was super friendly, very hands on to ensure we had a great experience. The ambiance is very nice...they have a wine cellar next to the bar and it's magnificent. Now let's get down to business.
They automatically provide bread service, which I love in a restaurant...because why not give me all the delicious carbs!!!! We started with the crabmeat au gratin for our appetizer. It was so creamy and FULL of lump crabmeat. The cheesiness was perfection. I want this again...like right now lol.
For entrees, my husband had the lamb chops and I had the duck. From what I was allowed to taste off my husband's plate, the lamb chops were delicious. The lamb was served with mashed potatoes and green beans. My duck was perfectly cooked. Crispy skin on the outside and the meat was so moist and flavorful. The duck came with a wild rice and spinach.
There was other dishes on the menu that I definitely want to go back and try. This place is great. For a date night or casual night out...check them out ASAP!
