Phenomenal isn't the word...but sweet perfection just might be! A lovely place that puts its own spin on Italian fare. No you're not going here to get veal Parmesan or spaghetti & meatballs, so don't even get that thought in your head.
First, the service is top notch! They really take care of your needs and ensure you want for nothing. Drinks are on point as well. They have a great cocktail list and a well-versed wine list. I had the Banderia Rossa...yummy yummy yummy!!!! Sparkling wine, strawberry, basil, & peppercorn. Fantastic beverage, very easy to drink.
Ambiance is beautiful!!! The decor is amazing. Gives off a coastal vibe with the blues mixed with copper accents. Tables are intimate yet you have neighbors. Good for groups or a date night. Also, if you're in a rush they can accommodate that...the kitchen doesn't dawdle.
Finally, the piece de resistance...the FOOD!!!! The food is amazing!!!!! Soooooo freaking delicious and filling! We had the Tuna Crudo, Pasta Campanelle, Spaghetti alla Chittara, Pasta Radiatori, and the Grilled Hangar Steak. OMGGGGGGGGGGGG.
The tuna crudo was so fresh and came with a walnut pesto sauce. I usually don't care for walnut or pesto but this was worth the try. Great portions all around! The Pasta Campanelle had a cream sauce and was topped with various types of mushrooms. So rich and tasty!!!! The noodles were cooked al dente, the mushrooms didn't lose their flavor on the sauce either. The Spaghetti alla Chittara was a lobster pasta. They do not skimp on the lobster meat. The sauce was perfection as well. Omg!!!! The Radiatori was light and tasty with crab meat on top. The sauce was really light as well. The steak was great! The sauce is good too. Omgggggggg....I can't wait to get back to this place! And it will be sooner rather than later!
