Broussard’s

What a gem in the French Quarter!!!! Me and a few of my girls went to Broussard’s for brunch one Sunday. And I’m soooooooo glad we did. We popped into Broussard’s and sat at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation. The bar service was great.

To start we had the bottomless mimosas…duh! And at $15 why the hell not! The menu is phenomenal, there’s a lot to choose from no matter your eating style.

I had the Turtle Soup, Pontchatoula Strawberry Salad, Crab Claws & the Bronzed Redfish. Don’t judge my appetite levels lol. The turtle soup was sooooooo good! Y’all know how much I love turtle soup. There was plenty of turtle meat, egg, and tons of flavor. The sherry on top was the perfect. The strawberry salad was delicious. The strawberries were so sweet. The lemon poppy dressing was refreshing and just enough. And the almonds provided the perfect crunch factor. The crab claws were sautéed which I love and the butter sauce was excellent. The Bronzed Redfish was divine. The fish was flaky and fresh. The crabmeat was an excellent topper. The veggies were crisp. The lemon beurre Blanc sauce was perfection. Everything was well seasoned.

The ambiance is nice. It’s welcoming and classic yet not stuffy. You can dress casually and not feel out of place. I can’t wait to get back to Broussard’s, there is so much more I wanna try. Run…don’t walk to Broussard’s.

P.S. also pictured is the Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles…
